Singapore is unusual among the destinations Indians apply for: you cannot file your own application, and the price has two parts that are set separately. Budget ₹3,400 per applicant and you will be close.

The two numbers#

Government fee — ₹2,100. The Consulate-General's own wording: "With effect from 01 January 2026, a visa fee of INR2,100 will be levied for each application submitted. This fee is non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the application and must be paid upfront at the time of submission."

Agent charge — ₹1,300. "In addition to the visa fee, a fixed service charge of INR1,300 per visa application will be imposed by the Authorised Visa Agents."

Two consequences follow from the exact wording. The fee is per application, so a family of four pays four times. And it is non-refundable regardless of outcome — a refusal costs the money, which makes document quality worth more here than on routes where the fee tracks the decision.

Why there is no cheaper route#

Because the submission channel is closed to individuals. The mission takes no walk-ins; the e-Visa system accepts filings only from Authorised Visa Agents on its published list. That makes "use an agent" true in this one case — and makes the list the only test of legitimacy. A site that is confident, ranks well and takes ₹6,000 is not authorised by any of those facts.

There is no premium tier to buy: the Consulate states plainly that there are no additional charges for urgent applications.

Holders of Indian diplomatic and official passports are exempt from the visa requirement altogether.

What else the trip costs#

The visa is the small line. Singapore's entry checks look at funds, accommodation and an onward ticket, and the SG Arrival Card must be filed before arrival — free, and separate from the visa, as explained in the Singapore Arrival Card for Indians.

Apply within 30 days before arrival, which is the window the Consulate advises; earlier filing is not an advantage because the entry visa is issued against that window.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a Singapore visa cost from India in 2026?
With effect from 1 January 2026 the visa fee is ₹2,100 per application. It is non-refundable regardless of the outcome and must be paid upfront at submission. An Authorised Visa Agent adds a fixed service charge of ₹1,300 per application, so the realistic total is ₹3,400 per applicant.
Is there an extra charge for an urgent Singapore visa?
No. The Consulate states there are no additional charges for urgent visa applications. Anyone quoting an "express fee" for a Singapore entry visa is charging for something the mission does not sell.
Can an Indian apply for a Singapore visa without an agent?
No. The Consulate-General no longer accepts walk-in applications, and all applications go through the e-Visa system where "only our Authorised Visa Agents are allowed to do the online submission on behalf of the applicant."
