Corrections policy
Visa rules change quickly. When our record is wrong or an official source moves, we correct it clearly rather than republishing the article with a new date.
- 01
Tell us what is wrong
Send the article URL, the statement you believe is incorrect, and an official source that shows the current rule when one is available.
- 02
We check the primary source
An editor compares the article with the responsible government, embassy, consulate or visa-centre publication. We do not silently replace a disputed figure on the strength of another blog.
- 03
We correct the record
A substantive correction updates the visible Updated date. News stories keep their original Published timestamp and receive a dated update layer explaining what changed.
- 04
We preserve transparency
Minor spelling or formatting fixes do not receive a note. Material changes to a fee, eligibility rule, appointment process or conclusion are dated and retained in the article record.
Report a correction
Email editor@visagyan.in or use the contact page. We review correction reports editorially and reply when we need more evidence.
