Our general Dubai visa guide could not find a single page where UAE immigration states its own tourist-visa fee as a standalone number — only u.ae's pointer that "visa charges are stated on each service card on the websites of ICP and GDRFA-D." Those service cards exist, they load only with JavaScript rendering, and they carry real dirham figures that no Indian-facing guide we checked reprints. This page is that number.
What GDRFA-Dubai's own service cards charge#
Dubai's tourist e-visa is regulated by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA), and its service cards price the bare government fee, VAT included:

USD figures are approximate, converted at the dirham's fixed peg of AED 3.6725 to US$1. Set against these, Emirates' own sponsor-priced tourist e-visa — US$90 for a 30-day single-entry, US$136 for 30-day multiple, covered in the full Dubai visa guide — makes the sponsor's markup visible for the first time: roughly US$18 on the 30-day single-entry product alone, before an airline, hotel or agency adds anything further, and before a reseller's own margin on top of that.
The visa-on-arrival fee, from GDRFA's own eligibility page#
The 14-day visa on arrival — open only to a defined document-holder list (a valid US visa or green card, a UK or EU residence permit or visa, or, since 13 February 2025, a residence permit from Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea or Singapore, detailed in the general Dubai guide) — carries a government fee of AED 253 on GDRFA's own service card, roughly US$69 at the peg rate. Emirates' own visa-information page separately quotes this same product at US$63; the small gap is most likely rounding and currency-conversion timing rather than two different fees, but we report both figures as published rather than reconciling them into one.
Outside Dubai: the federal ICP entry permit#
Dubai issues its own visas through GDRFA; the other six emirates — Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah — fall under the federal Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security Authority (ICP), which prices its entry permit as three separate line items rather than one bundled fee:

The guarantee is refunded, not spent — but it is real money held against the visa for its duration, and it is the reason a federal ICP entry permit can look far more expensive upfront than a Dubai tourist e-visa priced at the same duration.
Overstay: one real number, narrowly scoped#
Our general Dubai guide flagged the daily overstay fine as unverified — two Indian resale sites report conflicting figures, and neither traces to a dated GDRFA or ICP page. ICP's own entry-permit service card does state an overstay fine: AED 50 per day. This figure is specific to ICP's federal entry permit (the other six emirates), not confirmed here as GDRFA-Dubai's own schedule for a Dubai-issued visa — the two authorities are separate regulators and we have not found GDRFA's own fine schedule stated on a page we could independently load. Treat the AED 50/day figure as ICP-specific until GDRFA publishes its own.
